In this assignment, our team of 5 searched all around Kuala Lumpur to unearth the century-old relationship between trains and the dawn of civilization in Malaysia.

Below is the report and the documentary video we produces for this assignment:

Reflection:

Besides learning about civilisations in Malaysia, throughout this assignment we learnt to connect the dots between information from the internet and the facts we gained through the visit. Our main motive in this assignment was to link the development of the rail road system in Malaysia to the development of its civilisation. We also gained digital literacy through editing the video.

Lastly and most importantly, I realised the importance of the rail road system to Malaysia. It functions not only as a means of transportation especially to the city dwellers, but also as a backbone to our country's economy. More importantly, the development of this system indirectly shaped the cultural aspect of the region, as we saw through the architectural style in the Kuala Lumpur railway station and KTMB Berhad.

Without a well-developed system as we have today, it would be rather impossible for Malaysia to develop into a modern country. As the new MRT system is almost complete, I am convinced that Malaysia will achieve the dream of a modern country in near future.
