In this last stretch of Construction Technology module, we completed the remaining technical knowledge we needed to know about construction. From the complicated fractions of prestressed precast concrete components to IBS Formworks, we have certainly learnt a lot since the basic traditional methods in Construction Technology I.

I realise that the simplest form of construction are the ones that always escape our eyes, and yet are so important to our daily lives. One example is the retaining walls. I've seen it everywhere but it was only until now that I understand how they were constructed.

Below is our assignment for this module:

In a quest to complete a 20 minute-long video, our group went to a reservoir in progress to document its construction methods and procedures. Below is our finished product of this assignment:

Reflection

To accomplish this assignment, we needed a firm grasp of the topics in this module. This helps us to understand what we observed at the site and record what we needed to produce the video.

Along with presenting the correct information, we also need to present our information clearly precisely. Communication skills come into play as we carefully selected which content to show and crafted our video in a way that all the contents are connected to one another.

Video editing is always the best part in this assignment. I have again learnt a few more things in video editing and I felt the process getting smoother and easier throughout the different editing stages.
